It is not tied to any specific hardware. Whatever programmer is already on your bench stays in use.

What you need

XEEPROM modifies files. It does not read or write them. Your own EEPROM/MCU programmer is required.

XEEPROM works with clean binary files, without encryption, or extra tags / headers.
If your programmer saves in its own proprietary or encrypted format, those files are not supported.
